News from the Assynt Astronomy Club
Unfortunately February didn’t offer that many viewing opportunities! March looks decidedly more promising, so we’ve slotted in a couple evenings so far for some stargazing…
This Wednesday 6th March we’ll have the observatory open from 8pm for some casual viewing. Feel free to come along.
Then on 16th March we’re doing something a bit more elaborate - a Starparty + Supperclub to celebrate Spring Equinox! Food, camping, and hopefully some clear skies (though you never know!). Learn more and register your interest over on Facebook (or reply to this email if you’re not on FB!).

February skies may have been frustrating here in Scotland, however I am fortunate to have access to the OU Teide Observatory in Tenerife (a perk to having recently started on an astronomy and planetary science degree with the OU - so far so good!).
